Department of orthopaedics and trauma is concerned with various conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. Most of the cases encountered in   orthopaedics & traumatology department is musculoskeletal trauma. Other than this, efficient team of orthopaedics at Lumbini Province Police Hospital deals with surgical and non-surgical management of various orthopaedic problems like spine disease, Degenerative diseases, infections, tumor and various congential disorders.

•   ORTHO OPD/ IPD 
•    Trauma Care ( 24 hours)
•    Non-Operative Fracture Management eg. Close Reduction, Plaster Application, Braces

•    Minor OT Eg. Primary Debridement ,  Wound care
•    Intralesional steroid Injection

History

Physiotherapy Service was started in Lumbini Province Police Hospital since 2072 B.S jestha 1 in a small room. Now physiotherapy service has been extended in a newly built physiotherapy block. 

Available Services:- 

• Short Wave Diathermy (SWD) 
• UST
• Lumbar traction therapy
• Interferential Therapy (IFT) 
• Hot Bag Therapy
• TENS Therapy
